About the Experience

Join us during Canadian Fertility Awareness Week 2026 (April 19th - 25th) for the annual Hope in Bloom - a free community gathering for those navigating infertility or walking the path to parenthood. This year's theme is Fertility Unlocked with a focus on unlocking access to care, education and awareness and policies that support every path to family building. Fertility Matters Canada is on a mission to turn closed doors into open ones and help ensure that fertility care is understood, supported and accessible to all.

This two hour supportive community gathering weaves together education, gentle yoga, sound healing, and intentional space-holding to support your body, soothe your mind, and uplift your spirit. We encourage you to wear green, the official colour of fertility awareness - a symbol of hope, renewal, and resilience.

In a world that often asks for strength, we invite you to soften. In a season that may feel uncertain, we invite you to root into hope.

Whether you’re just beginning your fertility journey, you have been walking it for some time or are honouring a fertility journey that has already unfolded, you are welcome here. We honour and embrace all paths to parenthood. Partners and support persons are encouraged to join and share in this experience.

What to expect:

  • Update on current advocacy work led by patient advocate Ashlee London & Steff Sullivan

  • A fertility focused gentle yoga practice led by Kristen Pottle from Blossoming Heart Yoga

  • Group discussion (optional to share) guided by Nicole MacRae from Oak & Cedar Counselling Services

  • Sound healing session with Liz Fay from Fay's Empathic & Divine Healing

  • Mini educational session led by Lauren Myers, Naturopathic Doctor at Inbloom Health

  • Light snack, tea and water offered

🌿 Please note: one of our facilitators is currently pregnant, and there may also be pregnant participants in attendance. We recognize this may bring up different emotions and invite you to care for yourself in whatever way feels most supportive. You are always welcome to step out or engage at your own pace.

Please bring with you:

  • Yoga mat

  • Water bottle

  • Journal & pen

  • Anything else to support you (ie. blanket or pillow - bolsters will be provided)

The yoga portion will not be a hot yoga class, but rather a gentle and supportive practice to help you ground into your body. No prior yoga experience is necessary - just come as you are. Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled in the space. Pre-registration is required for all attendees, including partners and support persons.

Let this be a space where your breath feels lighter, your heart feels seen, and your hope feels held.

This event was made possible by our generous sponsor: Inbloom Health, PEI

Inbloom Health is an integrative health centre offering naturopathic medicine consultations, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine services with the goal of expanding your health care team. We believe when health care providers create safe spaces to feel seen and heard, it has the potential to transform feelings of isolation and confusion into self-assurance. Being able to understand the connections between our hormones, physical health, and emotional well-being through inevitable transitions doesn't just deepen our self-awareness. It gives us back the agency we deserve in our health journey and profoundly impacts how we care for ourselves. Our goal is to provide you that space with evidence informed guidance from our Naturopathic Doctors and Acupuncturists.
